At GEMS™, we recognize that successfully supporting large-scale projects and highly demanding clients requires far more than expertise in natural stone. It requires a comprehensive understanding of logistics, quality assurance, procurement, international trade, and project management to provide consistent and reliable support throughout the agreed stages of the supply chain.

01 / QUALITY POLICY

Quality Policy

GEMS™ is committed to delivering independent verification, inspection, and logistical supervision of Brazilian natural stones, ensuring compliance with customer requirements and international quality standards. Through defined processes and continuous improvement, we aim to provide documented traceability, greater visibility, and reliable technical support within the agreed scope of each project.

02 / THE FRAMEWORK

Scope of the Quality Management System (QMS)

The GEMS™ QMS applies to all operations related to inspection, selection, weighing, documentation, packaging supervision, and logistical support of natural stone products. The system supports defined and consistent processes aligned with ISO 9001:2015, providing greater transparency and helping identify potential risks within the agreed scope of service.

03 / IN PRACTICE

Processes and Procedures

01

Inspection and Selection

All blocks, slabs, tiles, and mosaics are examined by trained personnel for color, consistency, quality, and overall characteristics. Materials are evaluated against the client’s approved specifications, selection criteria, and project requirements, providing objective information to support the client’s approval decision.

02

Measurement, Weighing, and Documentation

Each piece is accurately measured and weighed and recorded in a comprehensive inspection report. Reports include selection, quality, quantity, measurement and weight, and material identification, ensuring full traceability and supporting continuous quality control.

03

Packaging and Securing Supervision

Materials are packed and secured following defined safety standards to minimize the risk of damage during transport. Internal factory procedures are evaluated to ensure proper handling of each block, slab, or mosaic until delivery.

04

Comprehensive Logistics Support

Collaboration with suppliers and transport companies ensures that all procedures are followed, maintaining safety, efficiency, and accountability throughout the supply chain.

04 / OUR COMMITMENT

Commitment to Clients

  • Independent and Objective Verification

GEMS does not sell stone; our role is to ensure every shipment meets the highest quality standards.

  • Trust and Confidence

Our processes minimize risks of damage, inconsistencies, or quality deviations.

  • Transparency and Traceability

Relevant activities within the agreed scope are documented, providing supporting evidence for transparency and continuous improvement.

This system helps GEMS provide clients with consistent information, greater traceability, and earlier identification of potential quality or logistics risks.
